Seventeen slide types for webinars, seminars, client meetings, and referral talks, each in Minimal, Accent, and Bold. A deck is a short JSON file of slides and their words. One command turns it into a PowerPoint file that also opens in Google Slides, plus a PDF, and an agent can write the JSON for you from a plain request.
Ask for a deck
Tell an agent what the talk is about, who it's for, how many slides, and which step. For example: “Make a 12-slide Bold deck for a referral talk to financial advisors about funding trusts.” The agent uses the pierce-create-deck skill: it writes the deck as JSON, checks every slide against the budgets below, and builds the file.
| Step | Command or rule |
|---|---|
| 1. Write the deck | Save a spec to decks-local/NAME.json (ignored by Git). Copy the shape of src/lib/deck-sample.json: a title, a style (minimal, accent, bold), an optional footer, and slides. Put what the speaker says in each slide's notes. |
| 2. Check it | npm run deck -- decks-local/NAME.json --check lists every word-budget, item-count, and photo-key error. Nothing is written until the deck is clean. |
| 3. Build it | npm run deck -- decks-local/NAME.json writes three things side by side: decks-local/NAME.pptx to edit and present, NAME.pdf with the brand fonts embedded so it looks right on any screen or printer, and a fonts/ folder with the font files. Add --style bold to override the spec's step, or --out PATH for another location. Speaker notes go into the PowerPoint notes. |
| 4. Google Slides | In Google Drive, choose New › File upload, then open the .pptx with Google Slides. Slides converts it into a native presentation, and all three brand fonts are built into Google Slides. |
Fonts. Slides use Cormorant Garamond, Newsreader, and Inter, which Google Slides already has. PowerPoint needs them installed on the computer that opens the file. Run npm run deck:fonts once per computer: it installs any missing style for the current user (macOS, Windows, or Linux, no administrator rights), then quit and reopen PowerPoint. npm run deck warns after every build if a style is missing. To send a deck to someone without the repository, either send the font files from npm run deck:fonts -- --out FOLDER, or embed them: in PowerPoint, turn on Embed fonts in the file (Windows: File › Options › Save; Mac: PowerPoint › Preferences › Save) and save once with the fonts installed. Photos come from the shared library by key (the same keys as print), cropped around their people when the file is built. Title title

THE GAPS
What a will can't do
A will directs probate. It doesn't avoid it, and it doesn't help while you're alive.
◆ It can't keep your family out of probate court
◆ It doesn't control accounts with a named beneficiary
◆ It can't act for you if you become incapacitated
◆ It becomes public record once it's filed

Rules for every deck
| Rule | Why |
|---|---|
| One step per deck | Minimal for client meetings, Accent for seminars and webinars, Bold for event screens and referral talks. Don't mix steps inside a deck. |
| One idea per slide | The title states the point. Everything else on the slide supports it. If a slide needs two titles, it's two slides. |
| Stay inside the budgets | The word limits keep type at 17 pt or larger so it reads at the back of a room and on a laptop in a webinar. The build refuses a deck that breaks them. |
| Send the PDF when you can | The PDF carries its fonts and looks the same everywhere. Send the .pptx only to people who will edit it, with the fonts/ folder. |
| Plain answers, no promises | No results, guarantees, or comparisons with other firms. Charts with example figures say so in their note. |
| Breathe | After three dense slides, add a section divider, a quote, or a full photo. |
