Email headers & signatures
Images for the inbox: the masthead at the top of the monthly letter, a header for one-off announcements, and the banner under every attorney’s email signature. Each comes in Minimal, Accent, and Bold. The email itself, its layout, type, and buttons, comes from the email principles and email templates. These pages only cover the images inside it.
Newsletter masthead · 1200 × 400
The same image tops every issue of the monthly letter. Only the issue line changes. It is shown at 600 × 200, so no text is smaller than 22px in the file.

Estate planning notes from Pierce Law Group
Quiet and correspondence-grade. Paper does the work; the brand is a signature, not a statement. Centred type on white, gold rules either side of the eyebrow.

Recognizably Pierce at arm’s length. A navy or gold band frames ivory content. A photo on the right and a navy foot band with the logo.

November issue
Full-bleed navy with gold ink, and full-bleed photography where the format has room. For rooms, not envelopes. Navy with a gold keyline. Reads well in dark-mode inboxes.
Announcement header · 1200 × 400
For one-off emails such as a new service or an office change. It uses the same template as the event email header, with the offer copy in place of the event. The button lives below the image as live HTML.
A plan your family can actually use.
The monogram takes the place of the event date stamp.

The navy band carries the firm and city instead of a date.

The family on the porch stays clear of the copy.
Signature banner · 1200 × 200
One banner under every attorney’s signature, promoting the current campaign. It is shown at 600 × 100, so it holds one line of display type and one action. The whole image is one link.
Wills vs. trusts, explained.
Previewed at its display size, 600 × 100, on wide screens. The full colour lockup, a gold hairline, and type. Sits quietly under a plain-text signature.
Wills vs. trusts, explained.
A navy block carries the full yellow lockup and ties the banner to the firm.
Wills vs. trusts, explained.
Navy with a gold button. The strongest of the three, for the last week before the event.

Rules
| Rule | Why |
|---|---|
| Export at 2× | Build and export at the file size above, then set the image’s width to half of it in the email HTML. It stays sharp on high-density screens. |
| Always write alt text | Many inboxes block images until the reader allows them. The alt text is what they see first, so it repeats the words in the image, for example “Free webinar: Wills vs. trusts, explained. Nov 12, 12:00 pm ET”. |
| One image header per email | At most one header or banner per email. A second image pushes the message below the fold and adds weight. |
| No buttons inside headers | Headers carry no button. The call to action is a live HTML button in the email body, so it still works when images are off. |
| A signature banner links to one URL | The whole image is one link, to the campaign page, for example piercelaw.com/webinar. Never an image map, and never a second link. |
| One campaign at a time | Every attorney carries the same signature banner. Remove it the day after the event. |
