Google Business Profile posts
Images for posts on the firm’s Google Business Profile, which appear in Google Search and Maps beside the firm’s listing. These examples cover an Event post and two Update posts, each in Minimal, Accent, and Bold. Google places the post text and button next to the image, so the image says very little.
Event post · 1200 × 900
Google shows event posts with their own title, date, and button. The image repeats the date so it still makes sense when shared.

Consultation update · 1200 × 900
Use an Update post for the ongoing free consultation, with a Book button linking to booking. Google adds the button beside the image, so the image carries none.

Specification
| Element | Rule |
|---|---|
| Size | 1200 × 900, 4:3. JPG or PNG. |
| Cropping | Google crops post images to about 4:3, and differently in Search, Maps, and the mobile app. Keep the logo and copy 60px inside every edge. |
| Words | An eyebrow and a headline of eight words or fewer. Event posts add the date line. Google overlays the post title, so the image never repeats a paragraph. |
| Button | None in the image. Choose the button in Google’s post editor: “Sign up” for events, “Book” for the consultation Update, “Learn more” for educational Updates. |
| Offer posts | Reserve this type for a dated promotion. Google requires a title and start/end dates and times, and automatically adds “View offer”. Use an Update for the ongoing consultation. See Google’s post types and requirements. |
| Logo | Full PLG lockup, top left. Colour on ivory, yellow on navy or under a scrim. |
| Photography | Accent and Bold use one library photo. Bold places copy at the bottom, under a navy scrim that rises from the foot of the image. |
